G7 Direct Integration is not Surfacing Current Sensor or Transmitter Status in CGM Manager #97
The G7 Direct Integration does not appear to correctly surface the current sensor/transmitter status in the CGM manager.
During a sensor issue, AID's home screen correctly displays "Sensor Issue" (=CGM Status Highlight) underneath the glucose reading, indicating that the sensor is reporting a problem.
However, when opening the CGM manager, this status is not reflected anywhere in the interface. Instead, the manager continues to display the sensor's remaining lifetime and shows --- for the last glucose reading, without providing any indication of the actual sensor state or the reason readings are unavailable.
This creates an inconsistency between the home screen and the CGM manager. While the home screen clearly identifies a sensor issue, the manager does not provide the corresponding status information or any additional context.
Steps to reproduce
Use any Dexcom G7-family sensor through Trio's or Loop's G7 Direct Integration.
Encounter a temporary sensor issue resulting in unavailable CGM readings.
Observe that AID's home screen correctly displays "Sensor Issue".
Open the CGM manager.
Observe that the manager only displays --- for the last reading, without surfacing the current sensor/transmitter status.
Actual behavior
The home screen correctly identifies and displays the sensor issue.
The CGM manager continues to display the sensor's remaining lifetime.
The last reading is shown as ---.
No explicit sensor error, warning, or status description is displayed in the manager.
The manager therefore does not communicate why readings are currently unavailable.
Expected behavior
The CGM manager should expose the current sensor/transmitter status, ideally using the same underlying status information already available like other CGMs with direct integration, e.g. Libre 3/3+, do it.
In particular, when the sensor reports an issue, the manager should clearly display that state instead of merely showing a missing glucose value.
Screenshots
Trio home screen: Correctly displays "Sensor Issue" below the glucose reading.
CGM manager: Displays the remaining sensor lifetime and --- for the last reading, but no sensor issue status.
