asyncio-dev doc typo "immitate" should be "imitate" #156232

Hello Python team, this is just a typo so I know an issue is not required, but I hope you won't mind if I open one in case someone else wants to include it in a larger typo cleanup PR they are already doing (if no one picks it up after some time and I don't find other typos, I can send a PR).
In the latest version of https://docs.python.org/3/library/asyncio-dev.html (archived as is at https://web.archive.org/web/20260822150944/https://docs.python.org/3/library/asyncio-dev.html )
- In the comment on the line of example code
await asyncio.sleep(0.1) # immitate some async work
"immitate" should be "imitate".

@willy-b you can send this with the other fix, they can be handled together along with any other typos you find.

Correct, and we don't want issues per single word typo. Please at least merge the report into #156233.

Hey @hugovk , I do see in 9a1c70c#diff-a5d9bf51da98dff68d41e40c5374640da9fa6a09859285515be22852052678a1R307 that in PR #148747 this was fixed earlier by @ByteFlowing1337 in the code for future versions, but that backports failed

(so that is why I was not (and am not) seeing it on the default displayed version e.g. 3.14.7 right now on the live site only on the very latest documentation versions, e.g. 3.16 ).
@ByteFlowing1337 's change for "immitate" has not yet been propagated to some other language repos where the repo still uses English in that section, e.g. https://github.com/python/python-docs-fa/blob/671a78b8d72e303a3d82693c2029e9a2c626573b/library/asyncio-dev.po#L299 (latest commit in python-docs-fa) . But I guess since the backports failed to e.g. version 3.14, since python-docs-fa is on 3.14 we should not expect it to show over there until those get the latest.

That's right, no backports to older versions means the fix won't show up for translations using those older versions.
If you like, you can open backport PRs for these, see the cherry_picker commands in #148747.
