PyObject_DelItemString is not documented #127954

PyObject_DelItemString is part of the limited C-API and is undocumented. This function was implemented in commit b0d71d0 , but no documentation was added.

For anyone interested in documenting this one: it's the same as
PyObject_DelItembut instead of taking the key as aPyObject *, it takes the key as aconst char *. We should just mention that the key is a UTF-8 encoded bytes string (seePyObject_HasAttrStringWithErrorfor instance for a similar formulation when the parameter is aconst char *).rruuaanng commentedon Dec 15, 2024
