Please include a non-snap installation method for linux users on distros that disable snap #1211
Description
Linux Mint is a distro that actively disables snaps from being installed, you can't even install snapd on Mint. I had to go back to version 4.3.4 to get a version with an installer script that I could use.

This page on the Linux Mint User Guide explains why Mint developers chose to block snap by default. It also includes simple instructions on re-enabling
snapdshould you want to do so.
