Commits appear in the repository, but not in my Contributions Graph #209202
Discussion TypeBug Discussion ContentHi everyone, I’m having a strange issue with my GitHub Contributions graph. My commits are successfully pushed and appear normally in the repository’s Commits section, but they do not appear on my Contributions graph. I have already checked the usual causes:
What makes this even stranger is that I created an Issue a few hours later, and that contribution appeared on my graph normally. There is also a specific pattern I noticed: if the commits are not processed before 23:59, they never appear on the Contributions graph afterward, even though they remain visible in the repository’s commit history. For example, if I make commits during the day but GitHub doesn't add them to my Contributions graph before midnight, the next day those commits are still missing from the graph. I have noticed that other people have reported experiencing a similar problem as well. Thanks! |

I’m experiencing the exact same issue. My commits are pushed successfully and are visible in the repository’s commit history, but they are not appearing on my GitHub Contributions graph. I’ve also verified that the commits are associated with my GitHub account and are on the default branch. Interestingly, other contribution activity, such as creating an Issue, is being reflected normally. It seems like there may be a delay or issue with GitHub processing commit contributions, especially around the end of the day. Would be great if someone from GitHub could look into this. |

Yes, you are right I am facing the same issue and checked every possible endpoint which would have gone wrong. It should be resolved on higher priority basis, I think everybody is facing this issue right now. |

There’s nothing you can do in a situation like this, it’s a GitHub issue, so hopefully it gets resolved soon. |
