Hi! It looks like you've already ruled out the most common causes (default branch, PR authorship, public repos and achievement visibility), so here are the remaining things I'd check:
Hope your badge shows up soon! |

is the solve these issue you get the pull shark achivement |

Hi @ZedingZhang, you've documented this really well. Going by the PRs you listed, they appear to be merged and authored by your account, so there's enough here to investigate. Since the PRs were merged weeks ago, I'd move on from the basic eligibility checks and focus on whether the achievement record is missing. I'd do this in order:
@rushirathod22, Community posts don't earn achievements. Pull Shark comes from having qualifying pull requests merged; the exact requirements are documented in GitHub's [Achievements documentation](https://docs.github.com/en/account-and-profile/reference/profile-reference). |

Thanks, I'll check it out!

I'd do this in order:
1.
*Check the achievement while signed out.* Open
https://github.com/ZedingZhang?tab=achievements in a private window.
If Pull Shark is still missing there, it's not just a display issue on your
side.
2.
*Open a Support request.* Community members can't inspect or repair
achievement records, so go to https://support.github.com/contact.
Include your username, the three PR links with their merge dates, a
screenshot of your Achievements page, and a note that the PRs were merged
weeks ago but Pull Shark is still missing.
3.
*Report back here.* If the Support form has no option that fits this
issue, mention that in the discussion. Either way, add the outcome here so
others with the same problem can see what happened.

So, I'm having the same problem with my account—both with this achievement and others; it seems like GitHub isn't validating this information. |

Hi,
I followed the suggested steps and tried to open a GitHub Support request
at:
https://support.github.com/contact
However, the Support form does not provide an option for GitHub
Achievements or Pull Shark.
Under Repositories, the available options are:
- Invitations
- Migration and locked state
- Restoration
- Transfer
- Deletes
- Repository features
- Log request
- Repository access issues
- Remove LFS objects
None of these appears to cover a missing Pull Shark achievement.
My account is @rushirathod22, and GitHub search shows 15 merged PRs
authored by my account:
is:pr author:rushirathod22 is:merged
Pull Shark is still missing from my Achievements page.
Could someone please advise how I can get this checked by GitHub Support,
or whether the achievement record can be investigated?
Thank you.[image: image.png]

What did I expect to happen?
I expected the base Pull Shark achievement to appear on my profile
after having at least two qualifying pull requests merged.
What actually happened?
My account has three pull requests authored by me and successfully
merged by maintainers into the default branches of three external
public repositories, but the Pull Shark achievement is still missing.
My Achievements section is enabled and currently displays Pair
Extraordinaire, so achievement visibility is not disabled:

Qualifying merged pull requests
[LLM:Bugfix] Fix embedding QNN export paths alibaba/MNN#4555
alibaba:masterdocs(integrations): add OpenAI Agents SDK guide TencentCloud/CubeSandbox#1386
TencentCloud:masterfix(data): prevent recurring case-colliding vulnerability rules Tencent/AI-Infra-Guard#569
Tencent:mainGitHub search also recognizes all three as merged PRs authored by my
account:
https://github.com/search?q=is%3Apr+is%3Amerged+author%3AZedingZhang&type=pullrequests
I understand that activity within GitHub Community itself no longer
grants Achievements. I am not attempting to earn an Achievement through
this discussion; I am reporting a possibly missing achievement record
for qualifying activity completed in external repositories.
Could GitHub staff confirm whether this is a known achievement indexing
issue and advise whether the missing record can be corrected?
