30 Days of Python - Learning Journey

This repository documents my coding progress through the 30 Days of Python challenge. Really I the value I want to get out of this is to become a problem solver who happens to use code. I am also skimming through content that's not as important and skipping content I already know.

Projects Completed

Day 3 - GPA Calculator

• File: day_3/gpa_calculator.py
• Description: A basic manual GPA calculator that takes 7 grade inputs and calculates the average
• Features:
  • Takes user input for 7 grades
  • Calculates and displays the GPA average

Day 14 - Higher Order Functions

• File: day_14/main.py
• Description: Working with lambda functions and sorting country data
• Features:
  • Sort countries by name, capital, and population
  • Find top 10 most populated countries

How to Run

Each day's project can be run independently:

# For GPA Calculator
cd day_3
python gpa_calculator.py

# For Day 14 exercises
cd day_14
python main.py
