Sign up forms for mentors and teamtreehouse licenses that are only accessible to those that are verified with id.me.
What should your feature do?
I need a couple of web-forms that are behind the id.me wall that also populate into a table on airtable. The table for mentors already exists but the one for teamtreehouse does not (so more freedom there)
@AshTemp re: "Sign up form for mentors" - We have an unused front-end React component that was originally intended to be a mentor request form: MentorRequest.js
That form (along with the rest of our front-end) interfaces with our back-end Rails API. However, there is currently no functionality built in to our back-end for it to populate submitted mentor requests to Airtable. This was filed as a bug in the back-end repo, but closed (since such a feature was never requested from the back-end team to begin with). A feature request should be opened in the back-end repo (and linked to this one) if we want this capabilty to be built in to the back-end.
@dmarchante Not blocked - the back-end team has done their part, we just need to build out the front-end part. I'm going to assign myself to #971 (which overlaps with this) and start on that. This will be a good one to get ironed out while @kylemh is still working on the front-end rewrite.
We don't use id.me anymore, so we should prolly just close this and open a new issue with discussion centered around making the forms with what we've got. Forms take up a lot of developer bandwidth, so if you can offload this to Google or Airtable, please do.

Is this blocked or do we just need to build out the front end @jjhampton

@AshTemp The work for the mentorship request form is in #971 , which I will start working on.
Do you still need a separate form for people to request TeamTreehouse licenses? If so, we can create a another issue for that.

per @AshTemp via Slack : "we need the forms for Treehouse, mentor requests, and Linux academy but they no longer need to be behind the id.me wall"
Issues for Treehouse & Linux Academy forms will need to be created.

@jjhampton if we create issues for Treehouse and Linux Academy forms can we close this issue out?

Is there anything I can help with here?
