Introduce yourself
Hi everyone! I’m Vinces, an independent developer interested in local-first software, practical AI products, and tools that help people understand their work and personal growth.
I’ve recently been building three open-source projects:
Timeless turns public recruitment evidence into searchable career intelligence, capability comparisons, market signals, and practical AI learning paths.
Douji is a privacy-first macOS companion for locally searching Doubao conversation history and jumping back to the exact matching conversation.
APEX Workbench is a single-file, zero-backend personal workbench for goals, reading notes, ideas, health records, reviews, and internship retrospectives.
I’m also preparing a major update to Nexus, an AI news aggregation and prediction project. More details are coming soon!
I’d especially appreciate feedback on onboarding, privacy boundaries, documentation, and which project would be most useful to develop next. If something interests you, you can find the repositories on my GitHub profile.

Maintaining a project or repo owner
And where are you going next on GitHub?
My next step is to improve onboarding, privacy documentation, and the contributor experience across these projects while finishing the next Nexus release.
What technical skills or projects are you working on?
I’m working with TypeScript, Swift, local-first browser applications, AI-assisted information retrieval, and evidence-driven product design.
Got a question for us? (optional)
Which direction would you find most useful: career intelligence, private local AI memory, personal knowledge management, or AI news aggregation?
