• GFQL: index DDL cannot be fused with a query in one gfql() call (no CREATE GFQL INDEX inside GRAPH { }, no CreateIndex chain/let stage)

• GFQL: Cypher multi-seed hop (WHERE a.id IN [...]) does not use the resident adjacency index; single-seed does

• GraphBench q5/q6/q7@100k: two-star star-join loses to Memgraph; array-side seeded traversal is the lever (0.725 ms floor vs 6.5 ms today)

• projection_planning.py is invisible to ruff, mypy and pyright

• Research: should GFQL chains be immutable? (execution re-validates a mutation the product never performs)

• GFQL polars general path drops null-id node rows and collapses duplicate ids on node-only op lists (pandas keeps them)

• GFQL Cypher: binding-named variables (e.g. MATCH (src)-[e]->(dst)) should scope, not decline (E108)

graphistry/pygraphistry#2069 · Filter by author lmeyerov opened on Sep 6, 2026

• gfql cuDF: rows(binding_ops=...) zero-hop empty multi-hop seed row raises 'str' object has no attribute 'has_nulls' (pre-existing on master)

• gfql polars-gpu: the fused grouped-aggregate lane and the polars-gpu strictness tests fail on the RAPIDS 26.02 image (plan not GPU-executable on its cudf-polars)

• gfql polars: the seeded lane declines alias-collision shapes its predicate admits (29 ms full chain vs 1.9 ms pandas)

• gfql polars: the general (lowered) path fails on Cypher shapes that only the fast lanes serve

• gfql: the general chain path upcasts integer node/property columns to float where every fast lane keeps int (route-dependent dtypes)

• gfql polars: the plain single-hop chain branch ignores prune_to_endpoints (pandas keeps only the arrival side)

• gfql polars: an unnamed untyped single-hop chain keeps duplicate node rows that pandas, cuDF and polars' own multi-hop collapse

• gfql: an alias named like the source, destination or edge-id binding column is not rejected (silent clobber on pandas/cuDF, raw polars SchemaError)

• gfql cuDF 26.02 (real GPU): chain default route and policy-forced full path disagree on prune_to_endpoints hops and duplicate node ids; tests use the removed cudf.DataFrame.from_pandas
